Shane Jacobs holds an MBA and has 14 years of experience in spill response. Shane is the Global Aviation Manager for Oil Spill Response, responsible for OSRL’s aviation services including aerial dispersant, surveillance aircraft, satellite imagery and uncrewed aerial vehicles. Shane has responded to multiple incidents across the world, completing several roles in-field including at-sea containment and recovery, dispersant application, shoreline clean-up, surveillance task specialist, technical advisor and in-field lead. During his time with OSRL Shane has been a Duty Manager, providing technical advice and responsible for the safe and efficient mobilisation of resources to incidents across the world. Shane is currently an Incident Manager providing oversight and support to the duty manager to safely deliver efficient and effective response.
