Suzi is the President of the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers & is working with GREENBUILD to provide speakers & local attendance. She is the owner of the home and the Interior Designer. Contractor Bryon Stafford of Leland Construction

This home was on the SD Green Building Tour as well as the ASID Homes Tour.

SITE
• Recycled construction and demo waste – windows to Habitat for Humanity

LANDSCAPE
• All plants Low water- local or Mediterranean on programed drip lines. Separated by water need. Hydro zoning. & high Efficiency Irrigation System
• Fruit Trees – lemon, lime & blood orange. Strawberries. Lemongrass. Kiefer Lime trees for Thai cooking.
• 3 raised boxes for growing veggies – lettuce, rocket, eggplants, tomatoes, broccoli, onions, zucchini
• Solar lighting in landscape

STRUCTURAL FRAME & BUILDING ENVELOPE
• Use of Engineered Lumber
• FSC Certified Wood

• Smart Blinds that raise & lower based on sun position (saves energy, furnishings & art)
