Go Beyond Building Green this November
The green building industry comes together November 1-3 in San Francisco, CA
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Greenbuild International Conference + Expo is re-imagining what it means to build green, going beyond buildings to create greener communities, better workplaces, equitable programs, new sustainable solutions, and more!
Jane Fonda has been educating and inspiring us for five decades with her perspectives on climate change and what we need to do to shape the future of our planet.
She started Fire Drill Fridays in 2019 in partnership with Greenpeace USA to protest government inaction on climate change and recently authored “What Can I Do? My Path From Climate Despair To Action.” The book details her personal journey with the movement and provides solutions for communities to combat the climate crisis.
A two-time Academy Award-winning actress, she was also nominated for her recent role in Grace & Frankie, the longest-running Netflix series.
Fonda also notably celebrated her 80th birthday by raising $1 million for each of her nonprofits, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential and The Women’s Media Center.
We are excited to announce that Dr. Jean Rogers, Senior Managing Director and Global Head of ESG at Blackstone, will take the Greenbuild stage on Tuesday, November 1st at 9am PT.
Dr. Rogers has a longstanding career in sustainability, including founding and leading the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), a non-profit dedicated to optimizing US capital markets by fostering disclosure of material sustainability information that meets investor needs and enhances public trust.
Rogers oversees Blackstone’s corporate ESG and asset management teams to advance all ESG initiatives and integration across portfolio companies.
