Darren Winter is a strategic leader and digital transformation advocate with extensive experience across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He specializes in designing impactful training programmes in AI, data protection, and business strategy, bridging academic research with practical applications.

Darren delivers the Practitioner Award in Leading With an IT Mindset, equipping participants with skills to lead effectively in IT-driven environments while maintaining ethical principles. He has collaborated with international academics exploring cultural and religious perspectives on AI responses, enhancing his cross-cultural expertise.

His leadership includes chairing the Redcar Town Deal Board, overseeing £25 million in UK Government funding allocation. As an AI ethics thought leader, he balances technological progress with ethical considerations.

Academically, Darren holds an MA in Cross-Cultural Communication & International Marketing from Newcastle University and a BSc in Computing from Teesside University. He's pursuing a PhD in AI Ethics at Cordoba University, researching EU AI Act implications. He's also highly experienced in virtual delivery using cutting-edge online learning tools.
