Amy Pettigrew, CMP, DES, MPA, is a Senior Event Manager for The Trust (Powered by the NFLPA). She is passionate about creating memorable, world class events that connect, engage, and excite attendees. In prior roles, she worked for the NFLPA, the National Governors Association, the United States Tennis Association, The Walt Disney Company, Special Olympics North America, International Economic Development Council, The Catholic University of America, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
Amy has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management from NC State (Go Wolfpack!). She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2017. She currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Association of Meeting Professionals and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Amy previously served on the Board of Directors for North Carolina State University’s Alumni Association and was recognized with their 2015 outstanding young alumna award. She has also received recognitions by the Connect Association (40 Under 40), Smart Meetings (Industry Leader), and PCMA (Visionary Awards–Community Advocate of the Year finalist).
Amy is originally from NY and currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband, three-nager son, and two cats. She enjoys live music, tasty cuisine, sports, and traveling (ideally someplace with a beach!). And when time permits, hiking and running.
