Rachel leads RegCom, IQ-EQ’s specialist UK regulatory hosting and compliance consulting business. Rachel has 30 years’ experience in financial services businesses. She has held regulated senior management functions at a large European investment bank and a broker. Latterly she spent 8 years as Global COO of a UK headquartered compliance consulting business. She started her career as a management consultant after studying Economics at Cambridge University and Finance at London Business School. Her passion is doing the right thing for clients whilst managing regulatory risk. She has deep sector expertise in the alternatives space covering hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds, and has an extended network with other suppliers to the funds sector including lawyers and accountants. Rachel is a strong communicator, a problem solver and a pragmatist. As well as leading her team to do the right thing she goes the extra mile for all stakeholders and the appointed representative community that rely on RegCom’s services. She is a strong advocate of Launchpad, IQ-EQ’s initiative to support women launching their first fund, and currently has four clients participating in the programme. Outside work she manages a busy family life and loves to take on new challenges – the most recent being a marathon along the Jurassic Coast
