Profile
A global business leader with over 30 years’ experience in infrastructure investment, development and delivery, with both executive (CEO, CIO and FinCom) and NED experience across Public, Private and Non-profit organisations.
Andrew has delivered over £24bn investment in global infrastructure, real-estate and energy, consistently delivering returns to investors well above target and significant social impact. He has raised and invested over £1bn of equity from the London Stock exchange, following a successful IPO, and grew the business into a FTSE250 company of over £1.4bn Market Cap within 6 years. This included leading numerous M&As and divestments and business integration and re-structuring. Currently he is an independent strategy, investment and development lead in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors, undertaking multiple investment, corporate finance and strategic advisory mandates.
Andrew’s experience covers renewable energy, energy transition (fleet, grid, waste to energy and heating decarbonisation), recycling, property (residential, education, healthcare, leisure, commercial and retail), transport (rail and road) and civil engineering / mining.
Driven by strong ethics, Andrew has been a public advocate for social and environmental benefits of sustainable infrastructure throughout his career. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Columbia in New York; an Associate Governor of a London inner-city secondary school; a regular subject expert on CNBC, co-founder and advisory board member of the USA Blueprint 2025 infrastructure plan (a pre-curser to the development of the current US Infrastructure Act) and an informal infrastructure adviser to the White House transition team (2016/2017); and a member of two World Economic Forum panels on infrastructure.
