Annette Bannister

Head of Infrastructure Debt – EMEA at MetLife Investment Management

Annette Bannister is a Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Debt in EMEA for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) Private Capital. She is responsible for leading the team that originates and executes new transactions, as well as the ongoing management of existing investments for infrastructure assets in the Private Credit group. She is also responsible for developing the EMEA infrastructure business with sponsors, bankers and institutional clients.

Annette has 21 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure debt. Prior to joining MIM in 2015, Annette was a member of the Infrastructure Investment team at Legal and General Investment Management, an Associate Director at AMP Capital’s Infrastructure Debt Fund, and worked in project and infrastructure finance investment banking at Societe Generale and later, Barclays Capital.

Annette earned an MSc in Finance and Investment and BA(Hons) in Business Finance from the University of Durham.
