Ennis Rimawi is the Founder and Managing Director of the Catalyst MENA Climate Funds since 2006. For the past 18 years, Ennis has been devoted to climate impact in the MENA region, beginning with energy/water technology, then shifting to climate infrastructure in 2014.

Most recently, after exiting 90% of the CMCF1 portfolio with top quartile performance, Catalyst is raising CMCF2. CMCF2 will primarily invest in renewable energy infrastructure, and in energy efficiency/storage, and water treatment.

Previous to 2006, Ennis was the co-Founder and CEO of Estarta Solutions, which currently employs over 1,000 engineers and Microsoft and Cisco are shareholders. Ennis’ initial career was in the US manufacturing sector with Ford Motor Company before becoming a tech entrepreneur in Boston in 1997. Ennis currently resides in Amman, Jordan.
