Glenn Fox is Head of Infrastructure of the Private Markets team of HSBC Alternatives. He began his career at HM Treasury, where he oversaw some of the earliest Private Finance Initiative (PFI) transactions in the transport sector. He subsequently advised on PFI transactions at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen before joining the monoline insurance sector, providing guarantees for infrastructure debt for infrastructure projects and corporates, his final role in the sector being Head of European Infrastructure at FGIC. Other roles have included Chief Investment Officer at Hadrian’s Wall Capital and Partner at his own firm FHW Capital, which advised on infrastructure debt transactions. He joined HSBC Asset Management in 2015, founding and leading the direct infrastructure debt investment team. He moved to his current role in Private Markets in September 2023.
