Irene Mavroyannis
Managing Partner at Sera Global


Irene is the Global Head of Sera Global’s Private Capital Advisory practice for Infrastructure, Renewables and Sustainable Investing and is responsible for advising leading general partners, operating companies and managers of real assets on fund strategy (including capital raising), asset management strategy, liquidity solutions and ESG. Additionally, Irene oversees Sera Global’s investor coverage across institutional relationships, private equity and private capital groups.

Prior to joining Sera Global, Irene was a Managing Director in the Investor Solutions Group of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA). She was previously Head of North America and Business Development for the region at Hastings Funds Management, a global infrastructure fund manager. Prior to this role Irene was the Global Product Specialist for Infrastructure and Energy at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) where she also previously served as the COO of KKR Capital Markets. Irene started her investment banking career at Morgan Stanley and subsequently worked at Citigroup.

Irene received a Master of Laws from the University of Chicago Law School, a JD (Magna cum Laude) from the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Econ/Math) (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa.

Irene sits on the University of Chicago Alumni Board and the Board of the Philharmonia Foundation and is a member of Chapter Zero. She previously served on the Steering Committee for the Women's Infrastructure Network (NYC) and the Visiting Committee for the University of Chicago Law School.
