Julian Alvarez is a Director within YIELCO Investments infrastructure team and heads the office of the firm in Spain since he joined in 2023. He is much involved in the co-investment strategy of the firm. Julian is based in Madrid.

Prior to joining YIELCO, Julian formed part of the private markets investment team at Mutua Madrileña as an investment manager, investing in Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Debt since 2012. Since 2005 until he joined Mutua, he worked as a Senior Manager in the Transaction Services practice at EY, participating in due diligence and other engagements around M&A transactions. He started his career at the financial audit department at Banco Santander in 2000.
