Karen is a Partner at leading infrastructure manager Ancala. She is heavily involved in Ancala’s investment activity, works closely with Ancala’s portfolio companies and oversees the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activity.

She joined Ancala in 2017 and is a member of Ancala’s management, investment and valuation committees. Karen has almost 30 years of private markets investment experience mostly focused on asset-backed strategies including infrastructure, real estate and natural resources.

Before Ancala, Karen was Head of Real Assets at Willis Towers Watson where she structured and negotiated a wide range of innovative investment opportunities for its global client base. She also launched the firm’s largest co-mingled fund and the first focused on unlisted investments. Prior to that, Karen was a Managing Director at Terra Firma where she made some of the firm’s most successful investments, was heavily involved in managing its portfolio businesses and established the firm’s presence in new sectors.
