Karsten Sinner leads EBRD's investment activities in infrastructure funds. The spectrum of infrastructure funds in which EBRD invests ranges from traditional infrastructure, PPPs, mobility, digital to energy transition and natural capital. In addition to its traditional geography, EBRD is preparing its selective entry into Sub-Saharan Africa.

Karsten has been investing in infrastructure funds for more than 20 years and looks back at an over 30 years' career in the investment industry, predominantly with a focus on infrastructure.

Karsten holds a post graduate degree in Business Administration from the European Business School in Germany and studied at San Francisco State University.
