Based in Aware Super’s London office, Katya is tasked with developing and driving the A$245 billion Fund’s infrastructure investment platform in the UK and Europe. Katya is an experienced investment professional who has been successfully originating, leading and managing equity investments across various infrastructure sectors for over two decades.

Prior to joining Aware Super UK, she was the Head of Infrastructure at Local Pensions Partnership Investments (“LPPI”), an FCA authorised investment manager for three UK local government pension schemes, as well as a member of the investment team at GLIL Infrastructure, an open-ended infrastructure fund. She was responsible for the origination, execution and management of the £3.0 billion infrastructure portfolio and was tasked with leading deal teams through all stages of the investment process.

Prior to her work at LPPI, Katya spent over 10 years at Balfour Beatty Investments, a highly successful international infrastructure development and investment company with an asset portfolio value of >£1.3bn. She has also worked for an investment bank in London and a boutique infrastructure advisory firm in the US.
