Luis is a co-founder of Asper Investment Management, a London-based mid-market specialist in greenfield-stage investments in the energy transition, investing on behalf of institutional funds it manages and on its own account. Luis oversees Asper’s investments in the sectors of renewable power, power storage and heating infrastructure across Northern Europe, and is also responsible for Asper’s institutional investors. Luis is also an expert and published author in the field of policy for the energy transition, advising on how to shape policy that attracts private investment and delivers on social goals.

Luis started his career with The Boston Consulting Group (Munich and Madrid) before joining Credit Suisse’s European Energy Investment Banking Team. Luis holds a Master of Science in Foreign Affairs (Fulbright Scholar) from Georgetown University and a joint degree in Law and in Business Administration from ICADE Madrid. He is fluent in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
