Mark has been with AMP since its inception and became CEO in July 2022. During this time, he has helped steer the business through pivotal moments, including its IPO in 2014, its acquisition by Asterion Industrial Partners in 2020, and last year's £50m equity investment from the UK's National Wealth Fund.With a background in economics and environmental technology, Mark is driven by the challenge of how the UK can build a cleaner, more resilient energy system. Under his leadership, AMP has grown into one of the UK's leading distributed energy platforms, delivering flexible generation, battery storage and low-carbon heat infrastructure across the country. His focus is on delivering practical solutions, from decarbonising heat for industry to unlocking grid flexibility, that support both customers and the wider energy transition. He believes this progress comes from bringing together strong partnerships, clear purpose and pragmatic innovation.Before joining AMP, he worked in debt capital markets at Barclays Capital. He holds a BSc in Economics from UCL and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
