Reem is an Investment Director in the Infrastructure and Climate Group at BII, the UK’s DFI, responsible for deploying development capital across Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining BII in 2016, she worked at QInvest in Qatar as VP in the Private Equity division, executing growth capital investments across various sectors including energy, waste and water management, consumer, banking, and business services. Prior to QInvest, Reem worked for Occidental Petroleum of Qatar, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Reem holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a dual concertation in Accounting and Finance, from the American University of Sharjah, and an MBA from London Business School.
