Ross Gage serves as Managing Director at Black Mountain, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He oversees strategy and capital formation, working closely with Black Mountain’s companies to source, develop, and operate assets worldwide.

Prior to joining Black Mountain, Mr. Gage served as a legislative staffer for the United States House of Representatives before attending business school and moving to the private sector. He has been an active member of the energy and natural resources startup community for the last decade, helping establish companies in both traditional and renewable energy.

Mr. Gage holds a BA in Political Science from Texas Tech University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
