Sharand Maharaj is Co-Managing Partner of Keystone at MML Capital, the firm’s strategy investing in essential, asset-backed businesses. Sharand has over 20 years of finance experience, more than a decade of which has been spent investing in the European mid-market infrastructure space. Before joining MML in 2023, he was a leading member of the Principal Finance team at Macquarie Group. Earlier in his career he spent three years at McKinsey and began as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Sharand holds a Masters in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
