Infrastructure Corporate Finance Lead at Ofwat Major Projects

Zac is the Infrastructure Corporate Finance Lead for the Major Projects team at Ofwat, the economic regulator for the water sector in England and Wales. The team oversees the development of the Major Water Infrastructure Programme (MWIP), which is c.30 infrastructure projects in the water sector, covering reservoirs, water treatment/recycling plants, and pipelines. The financing of these projects will be competitively tendered to new investors, representing over £30bn of new investment.In his current role, Zac leads Ofwat's investor engagement and corporate finance assessment for the MWIP. Prior to joining Ofwat in 2025, Zac was an investment banker for nearly 20 years and has extensive experience in corporate finance, capital markets and M&A transactions.
