What is ConnectMe?
ConnectMe is our virtual event platform/mobile app that allows you to see the most up to date event agenda, the full list of those attending, set-up meetings, take part in polling/games and so much more!
How do I login to ConnectMe?
Once you have registered for the event you will receive login instructions via email 24-48 hours later. To login, you will need the app code and your registered email. This will generate a 4-digit security to be sent to your email which will allow access.
How do I download the app?
To download the app, you can search your respective app store for 'ConnectMe by Informa' or go to http://www.connectmeinforma.com/download/
How do I update my profile?
At the top of the screen, you will see 'My Meetings & Schedule'. Click on this, and click 'My Profile.'
How do I filter the attendee list?
Click on the Attendees tab which is on the navigation bar above. You will see a 'Filters' section with 2 different options: 'Filters' and 'Interests'. You can choose to filter by either of these options.
How do I use the Filters?
On the Attendees page, you will see an option to choose 'I am looking to meet'. Once you select the group of users you are searching for, the questions they populated during the log in process will appear. You can refine your search by selecting the answers to these questions. When you click "Apply Filters", the attendees you see will be those that selected the answers in your search.
How do I change my password?
At the top of the screen, you will see 'My Meetings & Schedule'. Click on this, and click 'My Profile.' This will enable you to change your password.
What is the Enhance my Profile section?
The enhance your profile steps when you log in have been created to help other attendees search for you in the ConnectMe App. You'll be prompted to fill in questions based on your organisation which will then appear in the attendee filter options. By completing these you will improve your networking opportunities at the event. Please note, if you have attended a event and logged into that event App, your previous profile answered may be saved on this App platform.
How can I chat with other attendees?
Click on the 'people' icon on the left side of the screen and search for either a name or a company. After clicking on the contact, you can click on the 'Chat' button. You can contact everyone on this platform. You will receive notifications of new messages and be able to access the chat function in the quick navigation bar to the left of the screen.
How do I set up a meeting?
Meetings can be arranged on both the app and desktop platform by checking the Attendee list. Beneath an attendee, a "Book Meeting" button should arise. If they are unavailable, they have not yet agreed to the terms and conditions of the ConnectMe platform.
How do I view what meetings I have booked in?
At the top of the screen, you will see 'My Meetings & Schedule'. Click on 'Meetings' and you should be able to view your meetings in your diary for each day. You can also add these confirmed meetings (and bookmarked conference sessions) to you Outlook calendar.
What is a delegate bag?
A delegate bag is where you can add content such as presentation slides or exhibitor material.
How do you export items from your delegate bag?
To export items from your delegate bag click on the bag and you will see a list of your items. Hover over the item and you will see a button which allows you to download each individual item.
