Media guidelines for SuperReturn events
SuperReturn welcomes journalists, reporters, radio personalities, photographers, film crews, and other members of the traditional news media at our conferences and events. These guidelines serve as rules of engagement to protect our attendees while sharing stories from these events with public audiences.
Which members of the media are eligible to attend SuperReturn events?
Members of the media must present identification to verify their affiliation with print, broadcast, or recognized digital media. Freelance writers must submit a letter of assignment or letter of intent from the media outlet they are representing. Freelance writers who are not attached to a specific media outlet must present by-lined articles from a recognized news organization - business or membership cards from communications or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility.
Media passes are available only to working media representatives who can prove that their attendance is expected to result in coverage of the event in print, broadcast, or digital media.
Is photography and filming permitted?
No professional filming or photography is allowed within any of the conference areas or associated networking sessions on and off-site unless previously arranged with with a member of the SuperReturn team. Professional conference photographers will be capturing images across all days of the event, which we will share with press.
Is quoting speakers permitted?
SuperReturn ask that all press respect the privacy and preferences of our conference attendees and speakers, in line with our Event Code of Conduct.
Journalists should obtain consent before quoting individuals.
Can I share my pass?
If press cannot attend, we are happy to accept a replacement for the whole event, however press passes cannot be split or shared between different people under any circumstances.
