Alexandra Jung is Head of AEA’s Private Debt Group and a Partner. She is also Managing Partner of Amateras AEA, AEA’s joint venture focused on women-led investing, and is a member of the Management Committee of AEA Investors. Alexandra joined AEA in 2022 with over 25 years of experience in investment management as an investor and business leader across both the U.S. and European markets.

Prior to joining AEA, Alexandra was a Partner & Head of European Investments at Oak Hill Advisors, a U.S. based $50 billion investment firm specializing in alternative credit and private equity. In addition to global portfolio management responsibilities throughout her career, she is an experienced business builder and leader, most recently leading the build out of the European business of Oak Hill Advisors across alternative credit strategies including private debt, leverage loans, high yield and distressed debt. Alexandra served on global investment committees, the Valuation Committee and other Oak Hill European Management boards and was involved in all aspects of management and governance of the European business. She is an experienced public corporate board director and currently serves on the board of NVR, Inc. Prior to joining Oak Hill Advisors, Alexandra managed investments in credit, distressed debt, and equity as part of Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Special Situations Group and at Greywolf Capital. In addition, Alexandra worked at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in the Financial Restructuring Group.

Alexandra serves on the Board of Trustees of Bucknell University, serving on the investment and finance committee. She is a founding board member of the Women’s Business Collaborative, a new initiative established to accelerate the advancement of women in the c-suite, board and corporate leadership through promoting collaboration among the largest national women leadership organizations. In 2016, she was the recipient of the 100 Women in Finance European Leadership Award. In 2017, she was recognized as one of 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds by The Hedge Fund Journal in association with E&Y.

She earned a Master of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A., cum laude, from Bucknell University.
