Alexandre Armbruster is head of the Private Equity and Infrastructure funds team at Caisse des Dépôts since 2021 after joining as an Investment Director back in 2015.

The team is comprised of c.10 people in charge of investing yearly +/- €1bn in funds and co-investments with a strong focus on lower-mid & mid-market GPs in Europe and in the US, and is an active member of ILPA, InvestEurope and FranceInvest.

Before joining CDC, Alexandre spent 5 years at Group Casino where he occupied several positions, from Senior Financing Officer to Real Estate Asset Manager. He started his professional career as an M&A Analyst at ABN Amro in 2006, before joining Groupama where he was part of the PE fund of funds team.

Alexandre Armbruster holds an MSc in Management from ESCP Business School, where he majored in Finance.
