Andrew Nikou is the Founder & Managing Partner of OpenGate Capital. Mr Nikou formed OpenGate in 2005 with his personal capital and the vision of creating customized and creative investment solutions that act as a force multiplier for lower-to-middle-market companies to realize their full potential.

As a member of the firm's investment and valuation committees, he oversees deal origination, M&A, operations, and the overall management, strategy, and operations of the firm. Mr Nikou guides OpenGate with a disciplined investment strategy focused on acquiring underperforming or non core industrial businesses that are most often divisions of Fortune 1000 companies, infusing them with the human and financial capital needed to rejuvenate the business and improve their overall performance and value.
