Anthony Scaramucci is the founder and managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, a global alternative investment firm, and the founder and chairman of SALT, an international conference and venture studio that convenes leaders in finance, technology, and policy. Prior to founding SkyBridge, he co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which was sold to Neuberger Berman in 2001. He began his career in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs.
He co-hosts three podcasts: The Rest Is Politics US, a transatlantic look at American politics; Open Book, where he explores life, leadership, and ideas through conversations about literature; and Lost Boys, where he discusses the mental health struggles and social disconnect young men are facing. He is the author of six books, including his most recent, The Little Book of Bitcoin, reflecting his growing influence in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
In 2022 Scaramucci was ranked by Cointelegraph as one of the Top 100 influencers in Crypto and Blockchain. In 2016, he was ranked as one of the world’s most influential people in finance by Worth Magazine’s Power 100: The 100 Most Powerful People in Global Finance.
Scaramucci served on President Donald J. Trump’s Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee in 2016 before serving briefly as White House Communications Director.
He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a recipient of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Financial Services (2011). Scaramucci, a native of Long Island, New York, holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
