Bart van Dijk is Managing Director, Head of Europe at ILPA, where he leads the organization's presence across Europe, operating from London and the Netherlands. He serves on ILPA's global leadership team, contributing to Board discussions across North America and Europe and represents ILPA at events across North America, Europe and the Middle East.

His remit spans four areas: member engagement and growth across EMEA; industry engagement with GPs, service providers, industry associations, policymakers and press; oversight of ILPA's European event programme, including the annual ILPA Forum EMEA; and leading the European Advisory Council - alongside shaping the regional content agenda, contributing to ILPA's global research and policy work, and a growing focus on private credit.

A Big 4 tax and corporate lawyer by training, Bart brings over 20 years of experience in global financial services across private markets - spanning tax, legal, fund and corporate services, with commercial, business development and leadership roles across the industry. He has served as independent director on boards of PE-backed companies alongside some of the world's leading investment firms and their investors.
