Brian McCarthy heads the Alternative Investment department, which is responsible for global indirect investments in private debt, private equity, infrastructure and real estate. Since joining Ampega in 2014, he has headed the Yield Enhancement team responsible for private debt and structured credit as well as the Infrastructure Investments department responsible for European direct debt and equity investments. Before moving to Ampega, he worked for 15 years as a fixed income portfolio manager at Deka Investment Management. He has a Masters Degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University in Washington and is a CFA Charterholder.
