Carles Pol is a Managing Director of Alpha Wave and is responsible for leading the private credit strategy in Europe, with a focus on the DACH and French markets.

He is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the investment process from origination through portfolio management.

Prior to joining Alpha Wave, Carles was first in the Special Situations Group of Goldman Sachs where he invested in corporate distressed debt and recently led the private credit business in Iberia (mid-market and large cap). Prior to that, Carles worked as an Investment Banker at Morgan Stanley.

Carles holds a MSc in Management from HEC Paris (Grande Ecole Program) and a MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya
