Cate Ambrose is CEO and Board Member of GPCA. Members include 300+ fund managers, institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, development finance institutions and industry advisors who manage more than USD2 trillion in assets across 130 countries.

Cate Ambrose is CEO and Board Member of the Global Private Capital Association - an independent, non-profit membership organization. GPCA represents 300+ fund managers, institutional investors, family offices, SWFs, and DFIs who manage over US$2 trillion of assets across Asia, Latin America, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Cate is a Steering Committee Member of the United Nations Institutional Investor Partnership for Sustainable Development (IIPSD), a Board Member at the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America (LAVCA) and a Board Member at Girls Write Now, a non-profit mentoring underserved young women in New York City. She is a member of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity, an initiative created by the U.S. Department of State to tackle economic inequality, foster regional economic integration and prosperity and restore faith in democracy across the Americas.

Cate featured in Forbes’ prestigious '50 Over 50: Investment' ranking - which recognizes the leading women in the US in finance and investment. She speaks and writes regularly on a range of topics related to public policy and private investment in global markets. In the last twelve months, she has been a commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and CNN Business Arabic.
