Cem Usakli is Managing Director, Global Alpha, Alpha Alternatives at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). Cem leads the Integrated Strategies portfolio covering assets that have low correlation to PSP's overall investment portfolio. Such strategies include: a fund and co-investment model — providing capital solutions to corporates and external managers; risk transfer in insurance and structured finance; and an intellectual property rights and royalties strategy focused on the entertainment sector.

Cem is also a member of the Global Alpha and Alpha Alternatives Investment Committees covering Active Equities and the All-Weather Hedge Fund portfolio.

Cem’s experience spans three decades and encompasses private and public markets in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining PSP, Cem founded a long/short fund manager specializing in emerging markets. Cem has also been an investment professional at Farallon Capital covering long/short equity and debt, and private assets. Cem began his career as a senior consultant with McKinsey working with financial institutions and diversified conglomerates.

Cem holds a bachelor’s degree from Bosphorus University and a Master's degree from McGill University
