Chris is a Partner of Goldman Sachs, where he has worked for 27 years. Today, he is the global co-head of Client Solutions & Capital Markets. Leading a team of over 1,000 professionals across 36 offices, Chris oversees worldwide client strategy, capital formation, strategic partnerships, and capital markets activities across the firm’s alternative investments and public markets investing platforms, which now represent over $2.4 trillion in assets. Chris also serves on Goldman Sachs’ firm-wide Partnership Committee and the Executive Committee of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Previously, Chris was global head and CIO of Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) group, and global co-head of Goldman Sachs’ firm-wide Alternatives Capital Markets & Strategy (ACMS), prior to its incorporation into Chris’ current group in 2022. Chris is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, vice chair of the board of The Juilliard School, and a board director of the New York Philharmonic. He received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Manitoba, and a M.Phil. in Finance from The University of Cambridge.
