Mr. Krishanthan joined Davidson Kempner in April 2005. Mr. Krishanthan was appointed Managing Director in January 2009 and was promoted to the status of Managing Member in January 2012. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Krishanthan was an Assistant Director on the restructuring team at Deloitte & Touche LLP, advising lenders and corporate clients in the London market. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Société Générale, where he worked in Mergers and Acquisitions within the Investment Banking Division from 2000 to 2002. Mr. Krishanthan worked in the Restructuring and Recovery Services and the Audit and Business Advisory Services divisions of Grant Thornton LLP from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Krishanthan obtained the JIEB qualification in UK insolvency in 1999. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998. Mr. Krishanthan received an LLM (Hons.) in International & Commercial Law from the University of Sheffield in 1995.
