Christian Kasten is a Partner at Deutsche Private Equity (DPE), where he is part of the management team and advises portfolio company leadership teams on strategic and operational value creation.

As Sustainability Officer at DPE since 2016, he has built the firm's ESG framework from the ground up – spanning risk identification and monitoring, active ownership through target-setting with portfolio company management teams, and driving sustainability-related value creation across the DPE portfolio.

Prior to joining DPE, he managed a technology start-up, spent six years at Porsche Consulting, and served as CFO of Compact Power Motors, a developer and manufacturer of electric drivetrains for the automotive industry.

Christian studied business administration before earning an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan.
