Christian Schuetz is responsible for ESG and sustainable investing at Golding Capital Partners.

Before moving to Golding in 2021, Christian spent 14 years at Pimco in Munich and London, where he headed up investment analysis for European utilities and the energy sector (oil and gas) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as credit research analyst. In parallel to this, Christian played a leading role at Group level in the areas of ESG and sustainability. He was instrumental in defining the strategy for the implementation of ESG criteria in the PIMCO’s credit analysis. In addition, as a member of PIMCO’s global sustainability initiative from the very beginning, Christian’s remit included the analysis of climate risks, among other tasks.

Christian is a CFA Charterholder and has a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
