Christoph is the Founder and Managing Partner of Beyond Capital Partners – a Frankfurt based Private Equity investor focusing on the acquisition of majority stakes in profitable asset-light small and medium enterprises in the German-speaking countries.

With more than 25 years of business experience, Christoph is a long-standing Private Equity investor with in-depth experience in sourcing great investment opportunities, winning the heart of the selling founders, executing state-of-the-art M&A, implementing value-enhancing growth-strategies and business development measures and being a focused believer in ESG excellence. As a professional, he is holding Executive Board positions at Private Equity firms since 2008. Christoph has a proven track record of successful acquisitions and exits of dozens of companies over many years as well as an extensive network into the German speaking Mittelstand environment. As entrepreneur and founder and with several funds raised, he endeavours to establish Beyond Capital Partners as one of the leading mid-cap Private Equity investors in their peer.

Christoph holds a master’s degree in banking & finance of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a post-graduate in finance from CASS University, London, and is a certified Real Estate M&A Advisor of European Business School. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer at leading business schools in Germany and a constant panellist at European investment conferences. Furthermore, Christoph D. Kauter is mentor and sponsor of the non-profit organization Level 20 that supports women in the Private Equity industry.

In his free-time, Christoph likes to travel and – being a passionate dad of three – loves to spend time with his family.
