Cilian Jansen Verplanke (58) studied Law at Leiden University and has nearly 35 years of experience in the financial sector in private equity, equity capital markets and commercial banking of which 20 years at ABN AMRO and Rabobank and since 2010 at her own co-founded investment Fund Karmijn Kapitaal. She has done numerous acquisitions and exits and has encountered many entrepreneurs. Karmijn is a female owned GP and only invests in SME companies led by balanced gender divers management teams.

Cilian has been a.o. Chair of the Dutch Level20 Committee for over 5 years.
