Conni founded EQT in 1994, today the world’s third largest private equity firm. He was CEO and Managing Partner since the company’s foundation and became full time working Chairperson in 2014. Prior to founding EQT, Conni worked at the Wallenberg Holding Company, Investor, as Executive Vice President. Conni graduated from University of Linkoping in 1984, Bachelor of Science with majors in Economic Analysis and Accounting & Finance, and he participated in the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
In 2015 Conni co-founded Pophouse Entertainment Group together with Björn Ulvaeus.Pophouse creates, acquires and develops entertainment brands within music, live entertainment, podcast and gaming. Pophouse includes productions such as ABBA the Museum, Mamma Mia! the Party, Pippi Longstocking show and Avicii Experience. Pophouse is the main investor in the ground-breaking ABBAVoyage in London, a spectacular show with cutting-edge technology, where the ABBA members reunite on stage as digital avatars in a purpose-built arena.
