Daniel Lavon-Krein, a senior partner in Kirkland’s Investment Funds Group, has championed countless large global private equity fund formations ranging from $1 billion to $16.5 billion and is recognized as a leader and pioneer in advising private equity sponsors and buyers on complex strategic minority investments in existing firms. In the past 18 months alone, Daniel has worked on over 10 transactions in this rapidly evolving market, including some of the largest transactions completed to date. Daniel Lavon-Krein, in his fund formation practice, has represented U.S. and non-U.S. sponsors of private equity and similar funds in the formation of their investment vehicles whose aggregate funds raised total tens of billions of dollars. He also regularly counsels leading private equity sponsors in connection with establishing, documenting and implementing internal firm management and succession planning arrangements.
