Daniel is a Partner and sits on the Management Committee as he leads all of the firm's IR and marketing efforts. He brings over 24 years of senior asset raising experience, having previously served as Managing Director at MGG Investment Group, a $6.3B private lending firm. Throughout his career, Daniel has held senior roles at, among others, Akre Capital Management, a $15B private partnership and mutual fund management company andSteel Partners, a multi-billion dollar global activist manager. He began his career in asset management at BRI Partners, a venture capital firm and joint venture with Mesirow Financial, where he helped grow collective assets to over $5B through hedge fund seeding strategies. Prior to entering asset management, Daniel spent several years in academia. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
