Daniel SzaboManaging Partner & Founder at Generation Tech Partners GmbHPanellist
Profile
Most GPs talk about AI. Daniel Szabo has spent 15 years deploying it — building ventures, scaling them across 20+ countries, and exiting them. He knows what AI does inside a company because he built the infrastructure, hired the teams, and lived the consequences.
He built and exited a 450-person AI organization spanning 5 locations across 3 countries. As Senior Lecturer of AI at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a keynote speaker at major European tech and business conferences, he translates that operational depth into frameworks that practitioners can actually use.
Today he is GP & Co-Founder of Generation Tech Partners, an AI-enabled small cap buyout fund based in Hamburg. Generation Tech Partners acquires owner-managed German Mittelstand B2B businesses and transforms them through AI — installing digital-native operator-CEOs, running structured AI value creation playbooks post-acquisition, and expanding EBITDA through operational excellence that financial engineering alone cannot deliver. This is not a fund with an AI thesis on a slide. This is a fund where AI is the operating model.
The Generation Tech Partners 26 Fund targets €60M, SFDR Article 8. Daniel is currently closing Fund I — and will speak from the front line of what it takes to raise institutional capital as a first-time GP with a differentiated thesis in today's market.
