David is a UK business reporter for Bloomberg where he mainly specialises these days on the business of football. He has been at Bloomberg for nearly nine years, spending the last three to fours years specialising on the growth of European football as a business to be invested in by state-backed funds, American investment funds as well as high net worth investors.

He has charted the rise and fall of the Superleague, the growth of groups like City Football Group and the development of the multiclub concept in football.

Previously, he worked at City A.M where he was editor after several years of being deputy. Prior to that, he was business news editor at the Independent and he has also worked at the Express, Sunday Express, the Sunday Correspondent, the Guardian, the London Evening Standard and the Birmingham Post as a financial reporter.
