David Su is a Managing Partner and head of the Apax Impact team, based in New York.

Prior to joining Apax in 2021, David spent twelve years at Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), where he was a Partner and founding member of the growth equity practice focused on investments across a wide range of sectors including technology, business services, financial services, and consumer.

Before NVP, David was an Associate at Spectrum Equity Investors, investing in the Tech, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sectors, and an Analyst in the TMT Investment Banking Group at Goldman Sachs.

David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS, with honors, in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. David has also studied at the London School of Economics and Peking University.
