Derek is Partner and Co-Head of Private Equity at AltamarCAM Partners based in New York, and joined the firm as Managing Director in 2016. In addition to his investment responsibilities, Derek directs investment strategy, sourcing, executing and managing investments for private equity across primary, secondary, co-investments.

Prior to joining AltamarCAM, Derek worked at PineBridge Investments and its predecessor AIG, where he was responsible for private equity investments globally. He started his career at Greenwich Associates supporting institutional asset managers on a global basis.

Derek received an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and holds a BA in Economics from Colby College.
