Emma Cory is a Director at HSBC Private Bank UK, where she leads the firm’s strategy across private equity and venture capital, hedge funds, private credit and real assets. Since joining HSBC in 2019 from Partners Capital, she has played a key role in shaping the offering and client journey across alternative investments. With a deep understanding of the complexities of private markets, Emma is known for her commitment to client education and demystifying the nuances of open- and closed-ended investment solutions. She works actively with teams across the HSBC global organisation and advises clients – ranging from high-net-worth to ultra-high-net-worth individuals – with perspectives to seize opportunities and manage risk in an ever-evolving market. Before embarking on her career in alternatives, Emma received a master’s in engineering from the University of Cambridge. She is also a CFA charterholder.
