In his role, Fabio and his team are responsible for leading client strategy, business development and strategic partnerships with a focus on Private Markets and Hedge Funds in the EMEA region. Fabio chairs the Wealth Alternatives Committee and is a member of the EMEA Wealth Executive Committee. Since joining BlackRock in 2013, Fabio has held numerous leadership roles including Head of Alternatives Solutions distribution in EMEA, Head of Alternatives in France, Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of Alternatives distribution for Family Offices in EMEA. Prior to joining BlackRock, Fabio held leadership positions in investor relations and business development at BNP Paribas Asset Management (Fauchier Partners) in Paris and London. He began his career in 2002 at Merrill Lynch in the Global Private Client group in Barcelona and London. Fabio earned a Masters in International Business and Finance from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2002. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
