Gaetan Aversano is Deputy Head of Private Markets at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), responsible for the sourcing, due diligence, structuring, distribution, execution and monitoring of investment opportunities (funds, co-investments and direct deals) across all private markets asset classes (private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure). In addition, Gaetan serves as a voting member on various investment committees.

Prior to joining UBP in 2017, Gaetan worked in the investment team of a healthcare private debt firm. Gaetan began his professional career in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, taking responsibility for cross-border sell-side and buy-side M&A and IPO in the Swiss and Benelux markets.

Gaetan earned a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, a master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
