Mr. Sagoo is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Sagoo was a Co-Founder and Partner at AcePoint Capital, an investment firm specializing in private credit within the Sports, Media and Entertainment ("SME") sectors, which served as a sub-advisor exclusively for Corrum Capital Management, where he was responsible for origination, structuring and execution of first lien and mezzanine financings as well as strategy and operations for the company. Previously, Mr. Sagoo was the Head of Origination at 23 Capital, a specialist lender in the SME sectors, where he focused on leading the firm's global origination efforts and executing debt financings. Mr. Sagoo holds a B.A. (Hons) from The University of Manchester in Economics and Politics.
