Jeff Levin is a partner and head of Credit at Thoma Bravo. Based in New York, he joined in 2025 to lead and expand Thoma Bravo’s Credit platform, leveraging nearly 24 years of credit experience. Prior to Thoma Bravo, Jeff was a managing director, co-head of North America private credit and head of U.S. direct lending at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. While at Morgan Stanley, he also served as chair of the investment committee of the U.S. direct lending funds and was CEO of the Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund (NYSE: MSDL). Previously, Jeff was a partner and managing director of The Carlyle Group where he served as president of The Carlyle Group’s BDCs and as a member of the investment committee for the direct lending platform. Before joining Carlyle, he was a founding member of Morgan Stanley Private Credit. Prior to that role, he was a member of Morgan Stanley’s Leveraged & Acquisition Finance Group.
